    Easily manage the details of patient and insurance billing. Our redesigned third-party processing feature has the ability to search for open, on-hold, billed, and closed claims within one window. You can search by date range, patient name, fee slip number; and sort search results by insurance carrier, plan, and patient name.

    The new advanced search capability can eliminate lost charges, expedite reimbursements, and save you valuable time by helping you search for information quickly. The Third-Party Processing window also ensures that the required information is included on the claim form before you transmit electronic claims.

  • General Ledger Interface

    The General Ledger Interface exports OfficeMate transactions so they can be imported into an external business-grade accounting system. This integration is available for the MAS 90 and MAS 200 accounting systems from Sage Software, and the QuickBooks accounting system from Intuit.

  • Redesigned Appointment Scheduler

    Along with the ability to increase appointments and reduce patient no-shows, the redesigned Appointment Scheduler now has the ability to show side-by-side schedules and attach such resources as diagnostic equipment to your scheduled appointments.   • Lens Product Loader

    The new Lens Product Loader loads a comprehensive list of more than 1,300 lens products and add-ons from the VSP® products database.

    Having a large, valid ophthalmic lens database will help you maintain product consistency between practice locations, allow you to interface with labs and VSP, and use the Patient Out-of-Pocket Expense Calculator for VSP claims.
  • Patient Center

    The new Patient Center offers a dashboard where you can easily view general information about the patient. In one convenient window, it provides quick access to the patient’s records, including family members, ledger, receipts, Rx orders, and medical history through ExamWRITER exams. The Patient Center also allows you to easily jump to other windows, such as Patient Demographics, Fee Slip, Rx Order, and Appointment Scheduler.

    What’s more, you can import a patient’s photo from a file saved by your scanner or digital camera, view the patient’s default provider, and obtain an average amount spent per visit.

  • Red Flags Rule

    For better security and patient validation, this feature ensures that the patient’s identification has been verified within your office and complies with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) guidelines regarding identity verification.

This calculator takes the guesswork out of determining the patient’s out-of-pocket expenses on the Rx windows and calculating the patient’s VSP benefits on the Fee Slip window.

    All information is provided in real time so you can help patients decide which products are right for them before they make their final purchases. If your patients change their mind and want to select other products, simply update the Rx window and recalculate the out-of-pocket expenses. You can also print the expenses and provide undecided patients an estimated quote based on their VSP benefits, so they can review the quote and make informed purchases.
